Speech Team Does Well At First Meet

The Speech Team traveled to Pierce, Nebraska Saturday January 16, 2010 to compete in their "Mitten Meet." This was the Speech Team's first meet and they were very successful.

Results were as follows: Riley Dohmen received 1st place in JV Serious Prose, Becca Best received 6th place in JV Persuasive, Anna Sorensen received 6th place in JV Extemp, the OID consisting of Jazmin Lee, Jordan Morrill, Sara Wilmes, Anna Sorensen, and Becca Best received 1st place in JV.

The Speech team still has many more competitions coming up. The next meet will be at Hartington on Saturday January 30, 2010. Good luck to everyone!
