Cross Country Team competes at Crofton Invite

On Friday, September 25, 2009 the cross country team traveled to Crofton and ran at the Lakeview golf course. Unfortunately we had no medalist, but we had some individual best times. Individual places for the boys were Austin Baldwin-24th with a time of 20:08 and Josh Javoursky-35th with a time of 21:04. Austin's time was his best at this particular meet and moved him to being number 2 on the top 4 times list for this meet. The girls ended up 5th in the team standings with 95 points. Jill Brady-18th with a time of 19:45, Jenni Laflan-26th with a time of 22:34, Anna Sorensen-29th with a time of 22:57, Karlene Sukup-30th with a time of 23:34, and Becci Laflan-32nd with a time of 23:46. Becky Stevens was our sole Junior Varsity runner and received 23rd with a time of 25:25. Jill's time was her best course time for this meet. The time she finished with moved her to number one on the top 4 times list for the Crofton Invite. Although we didn't have anyone who received a medal we had a lot of good times for this course.
