Cross Country runs at Bon Homme Invite

On Monday September 21, 2009, the cross country team traveled to Bon Homme to compete. The day turned out to be fairly decent with a slight overcast and fairly gusty winds. The boys ran first and represented very well. Austin Baldwin received 11th and Josh Javoursky came in 18th. The girls placings were a little more spread out but still very decent. Jill Brady was our sole girl medalist, receiving 15th. Jenni Laflan came in 24th, Karlene Sukup followed shortly behind and came in 25th, Anna Sorensen was 35th, Becci Laflan followed in 36th, and Becky Stevens was 40th. The Junior High also ran at this meet and ended up placing as follows, Allison Morrill got 6th, Jocelyn Sukup was 15th, and Randy Volquardsen followed in 16th place. The team will travel to Crofton next. This will be a challenging meet also. The meet will take place on Friday September 25, 2009 at the Crofton golf course.
