1.How long have you been teaching at CHS?
-30 years
2. Where did you teach before?
-I'm a lifer of CHS
3.What are your pet peeves in the classroom?
-There are many, but the top three are: (1)Talking while I or someone else is (2) Gum Chewing (3) Putting your feet on the book rack of the desk in front of you
4.What are some weird teaching techniques...in other words what are some weird things you do when you teach?
-I try to get kids to imagine what it would be like to live in the time period we are studying.
5.What is your favorite television show?
- (1)Heroes (2)Law&Order (3)CSI
6.What are some of your hobbies?
-Gardening, reading, and sudoku
7.What kind of shoes do you prefer?
-Any that don't hurt my feet
8. Would you rather have a cheeto for an arm, or be beat up by a ninja two times a year?
-I would rather not answer such a frivolous question
9.Who lives at your address?
-My husband Ken& my son Wade
10.What is your favorite food and drink?
-Prime Rib, and Diet Coke
11.What is the coolest place you've ever visited?
-The Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.
12.What college did you attend?
-Mount Marty College, Yankton SD
13.What was your favorite childhood toy, and why?
-My barbie dolls & Chatty Cathy Doll
14.What was the best thing before sliced bread?
- I have no clue since I wasn't born before sliced bread
15.Do you have a pet? If so, what?
-Yes, dog named Walter who has no real purpose on our farm except to eat and do what he wants
16.What is your favorite aisle in Walmart?
-Housewares-Gardening section
17.What is your most embarrassing moment?
-I've had too many to list here, One time i was chasing a student down the hall& fell in the hallway. My skirt flew up as I went down.
18.What was the year and make of your first car?
-1972 Chevy Vega
19.Please tell us something we would love to know about you?
-I'm a pretty good cook, and a CHS Bulldogs & Niobrara Lions fan.
